a little girl whose bones were fragile, but whose courage was incredibly strong. Hania has Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a condition that left her parents deeply worried, and doctors even recommended surgery to insert rods into her bones.
On April 10, 2025, Hania was admitted to Zobia School for Special Children, Mirpur AJK. From there, her structured journey of physiotherapy and rehabilitation began. In the beginning, the primary goal was to improve her daily functional activities.
First, Hania learned how to safely transfer herself onto a wheelchair. This was a major step toward independence and greatly strengthened her confidence.
With time, her physical strength improved, and she became able to stand with support. After achieving this milestone, Hania learned to sit independently on a stool, which significantly enhanced her body control and stability.
Then came a truly inspiring moment-Hania began taking steps with support. These steps were not just attempts at walking; they were proof of consistent effort, determination, and proper guidance.
Today, Hania is more active in her daily activities. She is more confident than before and is using her abilities more effectively. Her progress is a powerful example that with proper physiotherapy, dedicated teachers, and supportive parents, a strong future can be built-even with fragile bones.
This journey is still ongoing, and we firmly believe that Hania will achieve even greater successes in the future, Insha’Allah.
